Volunteer and give back on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. As the final event for Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, we will be volunteering at Salvation Army and Phoenix Rescue Mission. Both organizations deals with issues of hunger and homelessness in the Valley. 

Project Hunger

Location: Phoenix Rescue Mission Volunteers will have the opportunity to work with the Phoenix Rescue Mission and provide services for their Annual Thanksgiving Outreach. Volunteers will coordinate activities for children that include face painting, coloring, and other fun activities.

Project Homelessness
Location: Salvation Army Volunteers will have the opportunity to work with Salvation Army personnel within their distribution warehouse to separate and organize toys to prepare for Salvation Army’s Christmas Angels. All toys will later be distributed to appropriate families.
